Free your staff from the depressing grind of spreadsheets and copy paste workflows that keep the lights on by handing it off to a totally custom automation that that runs itself, every morning, before anyone walks in the door

No ripping out platforms, no big migration project. We integrate with the software your business is already using.
Off-the-shelf automation tools make you adapt your process to fit their limitations. Everything we build is engineered specifically around your existing process.
We don't charge an upfront build fee, or separate support costs. We offer a single monthly number, for the life of the contract, everything included.
When the manual work runs reliably in the background, your capable people can spend their time on work that drives the business forward.
We don't build it and disappear. Your automation is fully supported long-term. We watch it every day so you don't have to.
Our background is government infrastructure. Systems responsible for billions of dollars in assets and critical to national operations.
Here's what we usually get asked
In a nutshell, we eliminate the need to have your staff doing that soul-crushing manual repetitive work that keeps the business running. By developing a totally custom automation that's specific to your business process we give you the confidence to hand the work over to a machine. Your staff are then freed up to work on things that actually propel the business forward, instead of just treading water.
You get access to the all-Australian team to build and operate your automation. We take care of all the monitoring, scheduling, troubleshooting, and maintenance, allowing you to rest easy knowing it's all handled.
The whole thing is delivered as a three-year fully managed service, so you pay a single fixed fee every month for the three years. There's no large up front cost, and no additional charges for resolving issues or making changes.
Because we build totally custom automations and don't use an off-the-shelf workflow tool we can automate almost any process that has defined, repeatable steps.
Most commonly we're automating high-volume transactional work, things like:
- Syncing data between two software systems
- Publishing invoices and payments to your ERP or accounting platform
- Cleaning, analysing, and processing input data from suppliers
- Outputting data into to documents or reports that must have a specific format or layout
There are many types of manual processes that are common to all industries: financial transactions and customer management are two obvious ones.
At the end of the day, all software works the same way - processing a stream of 1's and 0's. However, there are varying degrees of difficulty in being able to communicate the correct stream of 1's and 0's with a given piece of software, but we're pretty good at figuring it out.
If you're unsure, book a discovery call using the survey above and we'll talk through it with you.
If an off-the-shelf workflow tool is handling your requirements, fantastic! We think you should keep doing that.
Where we shine is the really complex stuff. The kinds of processes where an off-the-shelf workflow is crumbling under the pressure, or the analysis and rules that apply to your data are complex enough that you feel like you need someone with a PhD to decipher the existing off-the-shelf version.
Of course, if your process is straightforward, but absolutely critical to your business (so much so you're not confident entrusting it to any old automation consultant) we're the team for you. We only do full-service managed engagements, so we're keeping a close eye on the process every time it runs and know just what to do if something goes wrong.
Thanks to our totally custom automations we can build a tool to connect to almost any platform or software system.
If you think you’ve got something difficult to work with, let us know and we'll be happy to see what we can do.
Great! Neither do we. Our focus is on helping you get the most out of the staff and software that already runs your business.
We aim to free up your best people to work on projects that can drive the business forward, so having to retrain them on the new whizz-bang software platform kind of defeats the purpose.
The short answer is, "it depends".
Each automation and each business process is unique in the volume and complexity of rules, as well as how easy it is to gain access to the necessary upstream and downstream systems and data. Additionally, we work closely with your team during both the analysis, and testing phases to ensure everything is tip-top before we roll the automation out. If your team is currently flat out it might take a little longer.
In most cases an automation is built, tested, and ready to go within three months of starting.
We used to run a pay per project model, but we found it to be too problematic. It's all sunshine and rainbows when the automation goes live, but change is inevitible, and some changes cause havoc on an automation.
From a technical standpoint, updating automations is not a problem. We design them specifically for your business, and we plan for things to change or evolve. However, in a pay per project model every change (whether it's a quick fix, an error investigation, or an evolution of your process) requires us to have a conversation about money before anything can start. We need to understand the scope, prepare a quote. You need to figure out budget. Every single interaction becomes it's own project.
And worse, while all this is going on, your automation isn't actually doing the job properly anymore.
Frankly, a three-year commitment benefits everyone.
You get:
- A partner that will answer the phone and be ready dive into it
- Ongoing monitoring and management - you don't need your own tech team to operate it
- The certainty of a fixed monthly price - no surprises, no matter what goes on
and we get to:
- Make sure our work keeps running at it's best - so that you have a great experience
- Certainty around what's going on month-to-month - we don't need to take on heaps of jobs and spread ourselves thin
If the process has evolved (you want to map in new data, change some rules, handle a new edge case) and the software systems the automation is talking to stay the same then it's all included in the managed service.
You can just book a call, we'll discuss what you need and tailor a plan. Once you're happy we'll get to implementing. Easy peasy.
Our focus is on helping you get the most out of the staff and software that already runs your business. We've seen many large scale IT transformation projects go sideways over the years, so we like to avoid them unless absolutely necessary. Which is why the managed service model is designed around the idea that we're automating existing and stable processes that you've had in your business for a long while.
However, we understand that things change. If you're at a point where a software platform the automation talks to needs to change let us know. We're reasonable people and we'll work with you to find a path forward.
One thing that's universally true: No one is safe from an outage!
But, we've been building complex software systems for two decades, so we have a knack for baking in resiliancy from the outset.
If one of the connected software systems goes down we can monitor the situation and schedule the automation to catch up when the issue is resolved. If it's our platform that goes down, we'll do the same.
But if the automation breaks because a connected system changes something, updating the automation to accomodate is fully covered by the managed service.
Testing... and monitoring.
The purpose of the deep dive analysis phase is to work closely with your staff that are doing the task manually and develop a really strong understanding of all the different ways this can go wrong. Then we build all the validations, rules, exceptions, and edge cases right into the automation. Every transaction that flows through the system is assessed against all of it.
Next, we perform parallel testing. We run the automation alongside your staff doing the existing manual process. We take the same data inputs and ensure we're getting the same outputs. The automation wont go live until everyone signs off.
Once it's running, we monitor every transaction that comes through. If anything fails, for any reason, we flag it and alert you so that you can decide what to do next.
If it turns out to be a new edge case we haven't accounted for the relevant updates to handle it in the future are all covered by the managed service.
Nope.
Firstly, we have a strong focus on bridging the gap between business and tech. We'll explain the specifics and the jargon in a way that makes sense to the non-tech people in the business.
And on top of that, the managed service model covers the ongoing operation and maintenance. We'll make sure it runs, and we'll let you know if and when you need to do something.
We're the tech nerds so your team doesn't have to be.
Software agencies, automation agencies, consulting shops - they're a dime a dozen. Some of them are really great, but honestly, most of them are mediocre on a good day. I've been called in to clean up and salvage after a six or seven figure implementation by a "Big 4" consulting shop failed to deliver.
Over two decades we've built all sorts of systems for all sorts of industries. All of those lessons learned go into each and every automation we build. And we ensure our work holds up over time through the managed service model.
After the initial three-year term ends, you can renew either six or twelve months at a time, or you can decommission the automation if your business has grown to the point that you're undertaking a bigger transformation project.
Unfortunately, I'm not allowed to talk about it. What I can tell you is that I spent a decade building mission critical software across the logistics and finance domains. These platforms handle billions of dollars of assets and process millions of transactions.
